My mission at Fancy Farmer is simple:
Provide healthy, delicious macadamia oil without breaking the bank!
I believe this fantastic oil shouldn’t be a hidden gem, but a staple in every Australian kitchen.
Unlike other oils that are heavily processed, refined with added chemicals and shipped from all around the world,
Our macadamia oil is pure, natural, and right from our backyard.
Our Farms
At Fancy Farmer, our roots run deep in the heart of Bundaberg, Queensland, where the rich soil and perfect climate create the ideal conditions for growing the finest macadamias.
Our journey began in the 1970's, and today we don't just grow for ourselves- we collaborate with hundreds of dedicated growers just like us who share our passion and commitment to quality.
Every macadamia we harvest is a testament to decades of hard work, innovation, and love for the land.
yeah, but why?
- It's better for you,
- It tastes amazing,
- It's native to Australia,
- 100% Australian owned, grown and produced.
Switching to macadamia oil has been a game-changer for me, and I believe it will be for you too.
Versatility and Taste
Macadamia oil's mild, nutty flavor enhances a wide range of dishes—from salads and dressings to baking and frying. It has a high smoke point, making it perfect for high-heat cooking without breaking down or losing its nutritional value.
Its a guilt free all-rounder for all your cooking needs!
Pure and Natural
We use a simple cold-pressing method to extract our oil, ensuring it remains pure and natural.
There are no chemical additives in our refining process, so you get nothing but the best straight from our farms to your kitchen.
Clean and Green
Our macadamia oil is 100% Australian-grown and produced, meaning there’s no need for long-distance shipping. By choosing local, you’re supporting local farmers, sustainable farming practices and reducing your carbon footprint.
So, whether you’re cooking up a storm or dressing a fresh salad make the switch and taste the difference with Fancy Farmer macadamia oil, your healthier, tastier, and more sustainable choice.
Who is the Fancy Farmer?
i am just a man who wants the best for you and my mates.
As the third generation working on our family’s macadamia farms, my path wasn’t always in agriculture but a late life change took me out of the city on to the farm, where I’ve found a connection to my roots, working with my family and friends to produce delicious macadamia nuts.
Day in and day out, you’ll find me in the thick of it—planting new trees, ensuring our irrigation systems run smoothly, pruning, fertilizing, harvesting and sorting our nuts to ensure only the best make it to you.
Working here has opened my eyes to the incredible resource we have in macadamia oil. It’s local, versatile, and superior to many imported oils. Plus, it supports our community and keeps jobs local.
Join me on this journey from our farm to your plate, and discover the undisputable greatness of macadamia oil.

Why 'Reef Certified' matters...
Our Bundaberg orchards hold current Hort360 Reef Certification, an independent program that measures how well farms in the Great Barrier Reef catchment protect water quality.
Auditors visit every third year and examine our records against four scientific benchmarks: nutrient efficiency, sediment control, responsible pesticide use and water stewardship.
Here is a glimpse of what those benchmarks look like on the ground:
- Fertiliser rates come from accredited soil and leaf tests and are banded close to the root zone so at least ninety per cent of nutrients stay with the trees rather than washing toward the reef.
- Permanent cover grass keeps a minimum eighty per cent of soil protected year round, trapping sediment before heavy rain can carry it away.
- Every spray is logged in an integrated pest management plan that favours low impact products and verified drift control.
- Water is delivered through moisture-probe scheduling and drip systems that typically cut irrigation demand by about one third compared with overhead sprinklers.
Because Hort360 aligns with the 'Reef 2050 Water Quality Improvement Plan', our audit data feeds the annual Reef Report Card that tracks progress across the entire catchment.
Choosing macadamias from Reef Certified orchards supports growers who back their environmental claims with hard evidence, growers like us, and many others lifting the bar so the nut you enjoy today leaves a lighter footprint tomorrow.
